yes it did...
I am installing the beta 0.9.3 at the moment
when I click login and login with admin admin it takes me back to the root page, but not logged in...
the upper right notification says not logged in(sign in) and I do not get the admin tab or anything..

did you rename the admin account? that's the only reason I can think of that would prevent you from logging in at all. If you managed to change the nick for admin, that would be your login from that point on.
Yeah. There is/was one sql file which didnt actually include the admin account in it's setup though i forget which way round it was. Check your lum_users table to make sure an account actually exists.
hmmm, double check your cookie domain then, make sure it's set something like .domain.com/ and access vanilla via that exact path without the preceeding dot of course. else try.domain.com/path/to/base/vanilla/install.
thanks for that minisweeper, fixing typos is usually a good thing... However it still wont display as logged in.
What it looks like is this... I login with Admin Admin, it seems to log me in because when I do so it says ("already logged in") but when I redirect to discussions or catagories, it doesnt display as being logged in.
I'm stumped then, the last course of action I would say is flush you cache and verify what you're seeing. But beyond that, I can't think of anything that would be causing this little quirk.
ok after clearing all my cookies and restarting FireFox and loggin in with Admin Admin I get the same thing problem...
I have no idea what the heck is going on here.
www.newlifecity.org/lifeinthecity/coffeeShop/ check it out and see, maybe you guys can see something that Im not.
Basicly it seems like vanilla isnt reading the cookie correctly when I view the discussions or catagories pages or whatever... but once I log in, it says Ive logged in ok, but when I try and re-direct from there to anyhting else it doesnt catch
grrrr
ok, so I see there is something seriously wrong with me,
I tried logging in on 1 of my other comps to see if it was just my laptop, and no go... still not logged in, but minisweepers seems to have gotten in just fine...
what magical voodoo does minisweepr know that I dont??
Thanks all,
Brad
