Vanilla Integration slowed down my wordpress site

I have installed WP on http://www.rosettaerror.com/ and Install Vanilla Forums on http://forums.rosettaerror.com/ and Embedded it with WordPress, But my site Page Speed and YSlow got very slow it went down drastically. Please suggest me if i can do any thing to better it.

you might consider vanilla hosting - might be faster.
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
Embedding one page in another instantly doubles your pageload because you are literally loading two pages. Forums also tend to have more complex data to load than a typical blog. Caching would help tremendously.
