    I love this theme, I find that when using categories: the Most recent does not update,

    But when you go to the category This is not the case.

    This is the same as Bitter Sweet theme and +Baseline Theme, is it a 2.1.6 or a theme problem?

    Appstatic is not a finished theme. It was created for you to finish and edit it. read the readme or the info in the theme page

    This is NOT a ready-to-use theme and is merely meant as a canvas of ideas.

    This means it is up to you to take it where you want to go...
