Allow HTML in Category Description?
I'd really like to be able to have some HTML in the Category Descriptions. Is there an addon for this? I can't seem to find one if there is. I've searched the addon directory but to no avail.
I've also looked to see if there was a setting for it but couldn't find it.
Thanks!

It's a bug, the behaviour of the description should be similar regardless of the location.

I think you can already do that.
I wish bud. Unless it's a bug with the Bootstrap theme. When I put HTML in a Category description it simply shows up as it hadn't been themed at all.
Oh but it works, i.e. the tags don't show up?
Could you give an example of what you want to add? Maybe it is as simple as wrapping it in a
<div class="Message"> The Ex Inferno General forum - Come in, kick your shoes off, sit back and relax. There's booze in the fridge and porn on the TV. Life is good! <br /> <br /> <a href="http://exinferno.com/">Test Link</a></div>This is what I have in the Category Description here:

(Yes, I know clean URL's aren't working... that's another issue for another day. LOL)
As you can see the HTML doesn't show up at all.
Update: I just did a quick test of the default vanilla theme and it didn't show up there either. (The HTML).
So perhaps I'm doing something else wrong somewhere if it works for you on your installation.
It looks like it works in the categories overview but not in the category itself.

Weird... icky huh? I've never even known that page existed. LOL.
I guess this is a bug or is working as intended?

I don't necessarily know how to file a bug... could you report it where it needs to be for me please?
Thanks!
The real easy question is: "is the HTML in the db?"
