Group threads in categories?

I'm trying to Group threads in categories... I'm using the bittersweet theme, the change that I need is on the side panel

I want something like this..... (Add + and - symbols)
ff + -
(If it the user press + show threads, to hide again press -)
Soporte + -
Comunidad + -
Fondos + -
Emprendedurismo + -
tec + -
OET + -
General + -

So actually you want the text Categories to be a link in which you can expand and collopse the categorienames? And you want some subcatogories?

I remember there was a plugin for 2.0 and maybe above by @hgtonight.
