Discussion count doesn't update itself

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

Vanilla 2.5, fresh install. I've had this happen on multiple servers.

Discussion count doesn't update unless I run dba/counts. dba/counts shows this after running it:

What is the '100%'? Is that supposed to be there?

    I don't know what's wrong with counter but the 100% strike it's normal

    Have the same problem. The counter doesn't update itself.
    It works if you use: www.yourforum.de/dba/counts but you have to repeat it several times.

    The included function "DB Update Counts" in the dashboard doesn't work: www.yourforum.de/dashboard/dba/counts

    Hope anyone can help.
