Sitemap index shows wrong category URL with /pl at the end of each URL

Sitemap index shows wrong URL - http://network/sitemap-category-sport.xml/pl

It supposed to display all discussions under the Sport Category in the URL above and not to append /pl at the end of each URL.

Does any one know what the problem could be?

    From our docs:

    Our sitemaps provide links to pages that list discussions by category and month started. This gives search engines a complete directory of every discussion on your site without overloading server resources. Although not part of the normal site navigation, these pages are human-usable (and useful) and have semantic URLs. Listing all discussions in a single list (no matter how it is broken down) would introduce serious scaling problems due to the ever-changing nature of a sorted discussions list and the possibility of millions of discussions on one site. By breaking them down by category and month, we create moderately sized lists that do not change over time, enabling reliable performance.

    Let me explain, in the screenshot

    instead of http://www.ufrcnetwork.com/categories/forex , the sitemap outputs http://www.ufrcnetwork.com/categories/forex/p1/. Every topic under Forex should be listed under/categories/forex

    All categories URLs end with /p1 which is not meant to be like that.

    What could be the problem please?
