I recently updated to the Vanilla 2.8.1
Now, when I try to post an image in a discussion and I click "choose a file", it lets me choose a file but it doesn't insert it in the discussion. Here's my forum.
Any idea what is going on?
Also, I do not know why but when I try to edit someone's comments, I get the following error.
"{ "Code": 256, "Exception": "Unknown column 'Active' in 'field list'", "Class": "Gdn_ErrorException" }"
The edit goes through but this error still shows up. Any ideas?

I read through the discussion but I don't understand what file I'm supposed to change or what code to put in.

Assuming this is your site, log in as boss, and hit these links.
The first should return a success message immediately, the second will ask you scan and fix, do just that!

It is not a file (like config.php) you change - it is in your database.
Well, I had my data base finally run the update / structure and database scan scripts that you suggested.
I still get an error "Unknown column 'Active' in 'field list'"
This happens whenever I try to edit a previously posted comment.
Just to update anyone following this, I got it fixed by following this advice from @noszone
I've created a new column.
And the error message dissapear!
I'd also add that the problem of not being able to post images has also been fixed by doing this.
