Include Captcha for Approval Registrations?
Good morning-
Is it possible to include the captcha for registrations that require approval? I understand that I will have to approve all registration requests, but if I can minimize the spam that might come through, I think that would be helpful.
Thank you!

This is something that I want as well.
use the BotStop Plugin and look at this

and/or this

I'd echo what @fh111 suggests.
Installed BotStop a few days ago, and it immediately stopped a tiresome bot.
Yeah i think it's silly that recaptcha stops working when you switch to Approval, like why? lol
I use this in the mean time:

@darkflameq
what version of vanilla? are you using?
if you provide a link to your site and you can work with me in a coherent way I can possibly help you.
and you stay on line while we troubleshoot.
I can't use captcha, but i thought it was inplemented with approval in 2.1
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure upgrading 2.1 changes this. We changed this a long time ago.
Latest 2.0 (2.0.18.11) version.
I'm just trailing Vanilla at the moment and after trying 2.1, i quickly found out that the majority of mods don't seem to work with 2.1, so dropped back down to 2.0 series.
At least the issue at hand was fixed in later versions, good to know!
@darkflameq Mind sharing your list of not working plugins over here: http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/26703/plugins-and-themes-that-work-and-don-t-work-in-vanilla-2-1
I thank you in advance!
