Man I really want one of those MacBook's now. When you get it.. download Parallels. It'll allow you to run Windows XP, Linux and anything else within a window in OSX. Full speed.
Amazing. My lecturer at Uni had it running and it's really good. He use's it so he can run programs that need Windows or whatever without having to restart into the OS like Bootcamp does.
Yeah, there's a campaign at the moment in the uk to improve school dinners. It's largely down to kids lifestyles in general though. I'm fortunate enough to have the enviable teenage metabolism where it's near impossible for me to put on weight no matter what i eat. I'm pretty sure if i didnt i'd put a lot more effort into keeping in shape though. Meh.
Parallels looks awesome. Less talk about the macbook - it's making me want one more
I still dont see why you'd prefer it with the matte screen. What sort of conditions do you work in? I've yet to find a time at which i'd prefer this not to be xbrite.
@Mark: Yeah... Definitely. And if there's the slightest bit of light in the room, the glare is highly uncomfortable (from what I've heard on a few blogs).
@Minisweeper: I just noticed the uncomfortable glare in the store. If it's like that anywhere else, I don't want it.
Well i work with one full time and i cant say as i noticed the one in the store today was any different to this one. I work under spotlights and it's never bothered me. Maybe you should take another look in different conditions?
Meh. I'm still a little bugged out by the macbooks keyboard. Sizewise it seemed alright, though it's so difficult to tell when theyre clamped to a table - god knows why they cant just kensington it up.
I've got an xbrite screen on my sony and my office is very sunny. It never bothers me. I actually LOVE this laptop if for no other reason than the screen. It's the best laptop screen I've ever had, imho.

Oh you can run it full screen and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference on the surface.
