I've just installed 1.2.1 and it's excellent. This is going to become a mainstay of all Vanilla OS installations. I'm glad we could get this off the ground and kudos to you @hgtonight for doing the heavy lifting and everyone else who assisted with pull requests.
Hi...
Don't Kill me if I'm Wrong, but this Problem has kept me awake for some time..
In Short:
If the Plugin is installed and activated but NOT activated in Rolls&Permissions for eg. Registered Users, then the Registered Users will have a Permission error and cannot start a new Discussion!!!
Not sure if its just on my installation, but if not... better to tell it to you..
I am having an issue where I can't edit a post that has a post attached.
Scenario: I want to update the title of a post where there is a poll. When I click save I get this error:
"You must enter a valid poll title!"
The poll is already saved and as it says, you can't edit it, only delete it but the poll is fine. I just wanted to rename the thread topic.
First of all, Thanks for this great plugin It would be great if you could implement a preview functionality. When someone is creating a new discussion and adds a poll and click on preview, he won’t see the added Poll data in the preview popup, only the text he entered in the discussion text area.
Is it possible to remove the "Attach Poll" option that shows up when we view our own post? (not in post edit mode). I prefer it not to show up, as showing up in post creation/edit mode is good enough.

Hi and thanks for the plugin!

Is this a bug or just in my install? Thanks.
@Pixelnated

@Pixelnated I found the logic error. When I added in the option to not use discussion titles, my validation regressed.
Should be fixed in 1.2.3, which I just uploaded.

no big rush @hgtonight. If I get a moment I'll dig into myself and see what I can find.
Hello,
Is it possible to save polls in draft ?
For example I would like to record several polls and published them along the year.
But when I try only subject is saved in draft.
@legrandse
Right now, there is no support for drafting polls. This is simply not possible until I add support for editing polls.
I will put this on the todo list, feel free to send PRs here: https://github.com/hgtonight/Plugin-DiscussionPolls

This is a really nice plugin. Just wanted to say thanks.

Having both the discussion poll title and question #1 is unnecessary as they both are the same thing. How do we remove one of them?
@Geng Go to the settings page and disable the title.
