You need to add more informative stuff other than a link and one sentence. The idea of a wiki is to answer the possible questions in advance. Please answer these questions below and then add the answers to complete the page so you offer more complete information.
What about other Avatars , what if I want Gravatar ? or Identicon? Or to make my own Avatar or default Avatar? What if I don't want an avatar at all is there a way to not have one? Can I have both Vanillicon and Gravatar? What if I want to change my Vanillicon ? How do I change it?
I or Hg will need to patrol the contribution. If its a useful stub, I'd respectfully ask that other contributers add some value. If however, the info is wrong, misleading or otherwise improper, it will be removed.
i agree with the guidelines, with the exception, that it need not be complete. no one person knows everything on a given topic. starting a stub with useful information is better than not starting one at all.
but not starting one at all is better than starting one with incorrect information.
@tama thanks, i ran that script and it deleted a bunch of stuff. I'll check the size of the backup files tomorrow to see what kind of improvement it yielded.

maybe a " How to add info to the wiki" guidelines , here are three I thought about.
1.Info must be accurate and complete
2.Title must be relevant to the information
3.Links to the sources where the information was gathered or extra resources having to do with the information.

I agree with @hbf that stub creation is important. Content should be as complete as possible by that editor.
