As noted by the message at the top of the page, email is sending again.
Badges are also back now.
Remaining known issues:
Search non-functional
Addon thumbnails do not expand when clicked
Except I'll add another known issue. If you earned a badge within the time that the badges system was down, you will not get your badge as I have 26 awesomes and earned that within the time of the downtime of the badges system and I do not get the badge
Any missing badges will award the next time the appropriate action is triggered that will make it re-evaluate. For instance, Reaction-based badges will trigger the next time you get a reaction of that type. That's why Tim 'awesomed' your comment.
I have not been able to search, since it all changed, I use google chrome, on Chrome i just get a blank page, today tried IE7 > error message today > The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error.
Thanks DenisS. This is a known issue that I'm actually working on right now. We moved the site just a tad early, before getting the search indexing subsystem completely squared away, so that's why you're seeing those 500s.
Well, I can't guarantee something new won't break along the way (there was actually a second unannounced move earlier this week) so I think it's still a good heads up for now

"Addon thumbnails do not expand when clicked" is a Javascript bug introduced by a recent core upgrade, not the server move. ETA for a fix unknown yet.
I've fixed up the Fancyzoom plugin so addon thumbnails should be working again.

I just put this into the browser bar> "geoip on Vanilla forums" The result > http://vanillaforums.org/discussions/tagged/geoip/p1 . This is the only way i can search the Vanllia Community.
@denisS you can do as I mentioned on the first page of the thread
in Google just use the "site" operator: i.e: site:vanillaforums.org +yourterm
Search is now working

yes, it does, thank you.
I've unstuck this since that should be the end of our to-do list presently.
You should also remove the associated message, if I read you right.

The Profile Filter box is MIA when viewing a user's addons. It instead shows the edit profile menu when viewing your own profile.
