Best looking login screen?

  • @SirNot: Agreed that it is different, and simple. But there's no attention to detail which makes it look kinda lazy to me. The layout's all over the place and the login button's not even aligned to anything for example...

Wufoo (online form builder) launched today...

  • I really like login/logout pages that have a link back to the home or landing page. Wufoo and Wordpress are great examples of this. Having recently installed Vanilla, it has been an irritant not to have this reference back to the main site when I logout (I like to see how things look outside of admin). Maybe this should be added to the next version?

This is one of my favourite login screens:

I'm very tempted to start a Terminal Vanilla style. :D
  • I think we're meant to be thinking of possible login screens for other themes :-)

Sorry. The thread is a LITTLE old.

wow, just after finding this great thread. I have to admit that I have tweaked and tried various themes - eventually have moved over this week to the awesome Jazzman theme (thank you so much, jazzman!). But as I was saying, I have to admit that the last thing to get done is the login page. And yet, it is the screen that so many folks see regularly on the site.
  • yeah look at me, i completely forgot to do it altogether on my style! hahaha
  • how about this one < _______________Login Here Idiot --> < _______________Don't Forget Your Password --> mines the best login of all lol
  • too cute topic ! i like the zen login ;) clear background... maybe im too much behind my computer ;) need sun ! :-P
  • I like the feel of the Cocunut login. I kind of dislike the icons, makes it feel like a cheap Mambo template circa 2002.
  • The icons are from the FamFamFam SIlk set, which is becoming pretty widespread.

@ben - yeah I recognized them from thence. Perhaps that is why I make the mental association. Coconut is a wicked looking app by the way. Any plans to publicly release it?
  • Definately! Just as soon as we finish it.
  • yay :P
  • For what it's worth there is already a Coconut CMS. However, it seems to be in a weird mix of Spanglish.
  • wish they would stop making so many CMS systems
