  • You could have a box at the bottom the forum which has a list of the panel stuff in columns.
  • Defintely make that another vote for the retractable side panel....Love it!!
  • @ADM: Yeah, if you mean the Discussions and Comments scroll down behind the Control Panel at the bottom. I like that idea for a theme.

One request though, please please please keep the similar layout of comment structure to what other forum software uses, I love the way you can fit so many comments onto the screen and still have them very clearly seperated, if that makes any sense. (I hate the way other boards have a huge panel next to each post, so even if you only post one line it still takes up loads of room).

me personally says no to the hidable panel. Imo it would jsut annoy me. Every time you want to go to the panel you have to unt for the hide button. Maybe the option for either. Im sure you could squeze in a panel in there somewhere.
  • But that's the point of the hideable panel, you can hide it or leave it open permanently.
  • Agreed. You can simply leave the panel "unhidden"....Wouldn't that be a solution that solves either situation?
  • Yum, it looks even tastier in Safari with text-shadow.
  • I thought this discussion was going to be about the new Vanilla Mint-flavored Listerine mouthwash.

    This is much better.
  • Apparently the side-panel can easily fit: http://pix.nofrag.com/86/a1/85d55d2700e2537913563367c20d.html

    I can't wait for this <3
  • you could have it at the top in an inmanesque dropdown like on his site.
  • I think the dropdown idea is killer.

Remouk your idea works if you assume every browses with their windows maximized. I really don't understand why people do that, actually, my browser window is never more than about 900 px wide. I think it'd be a tight fit over on the side there.
  • "you could have it at the top in an inmanesque dropdown like on his site."

    Yeah that's a better idea.

If you're ripping off Mint's color scheme then you might as well rip off his dropdown as well ;)

    OMG! It's awesome! I love it! :)
  • JoshuaJenkins > It's not larger than the default theme...
  • I'm actually curious why people dont browse with full screen windows? Unless you're using a really big monitor. Or are a mac user (it seems much more popular to use small windows in that community...again i'm not sure why)

    Or are at work... :-)
  • I'm at work. :D I can still minimise the windows or alt-tab between them. They'd still be in my taskbar so it's not like people cant see. Who are you fooling? :P
  • Even with a full screen window, there are still many people who have 1024 pixels wide windows. And that would hide pretty much the whole panel on the right. And seriously, there are still a considerable amount of people using 800x600 screens (unfortunately).
