    Seems like a split decision, it'd be easy enough to change it in the CSS I guess anyway so it's not worth worrying about :)

    I say make it the way you want and let people change it for themselves after the fact. Personally, I like the colors you've chosen.

    I can't wait to create a style based on the lovely Vanilla colors :) But first, I need to finish the theme... It's more work than I thought. It's hard to change some stuff without losing the Vanilla functions.

    Btw, my visits have doubled since I've put up the new theme :) Funny to notice that most Vanilla community members use Firefox (55%) and only a few IE (8%).

    honestly, i wouldnt transform a vanilla into a punbb (i mean get one if you want one).

    i bet the mint stylesheet + the vanilla forum as it is looks also wowie.. my opinion is: i would keep the benefits of the well organized vanilla gui.

    Nice work so far although its hard to read the text [sticky] & others like [closed] and [sink] if it has new posts (when its blue) since its dark green on slightly dark blue.

    Even if you do like the default vanilla theme more, I like that this theme is being created. It shows people who don't understand that Vanilla serves the same purpose, but with a different spin. I honestly don't think that a lot of people "get" that.

    Man I simply love this theme, it really brings out the fact that vanilla is so customizable :) Would it be possible for you to release the theme files that you are testing on your site atm? I am sure we all can help u test it more if its an open testing :)

    Yeah, Mint will be ported to Vanilla. When I've seen it on you website I only thought: "Insane work!" Really. I hope it'll be released soon, because I am not able to wait for long time :D

    Just a little word of advice! You probably know about My Vanilla Cork'd style, I contacted Dan and he basically said not just yet. I wonder whether its an idea just to contact Shaun Inman? Just to get his full blessing! Its obviously up to you! But I just thought I would let you know!

    When the theme is done, I will contact Shawn. Btw, I'm not here to copy his style, I just want to create a new theme for Vanilla. Once I have the Mint style working, I'm going to create a Vanilla color-scheme. I will at least release that one :) I used Mint's forum as a base to work from just as Shawn used punBB as a base. Eventually we all copy from eachother :) Even a new idea is always based on ideas seen on other websites or other media.

    Sure is! I didn't have a problem with it, I just didn't want you to waste your time, by doing it and then finding out he didn't like the idea!

    a colorsheme dont need a permission of someone (or also even a arrangement of css-tables) .. the usage of colors are free in our world jazzman.


    so just do your mint thing, and at least .. dont call it mint ! call it pepermint or such...
