    Sorry for asking a dumb GitHub question again, but where would I find that? Do you mean all the open issues?

    No, from the Issues list, click the "Milestones" tab. It's the only open one: https://github.com/vanilla/vanilla/milestones/2.2rc

  • guys... is there a way i can run this version on a test server but with my present installation database and configurations?...

  • Dr_SommerDr_Sommer Dr. of tender Programing ;) ✭✭

    @mashnino; Yea, you can... :awesome:

    Make a Copy of your existing DB and Forum... change the DB settings int the Copyforum (config.php)
    Also, to avoid session problems, change the Cookie settings of the copy...
    When everything is working, do the Update on the copyForum... that should be it... ;)

    UnderDog
  • @mashnino Yes, just copy over your conf/config.php

    My themes: pure | minusbaseline - My plugins: CSSedit | HTMLedit | InfiniteScroll | BirthdayModule | [all] - PM me about customizations

    Checking this out on my test server.. but I've noticed that my custom Emotify smileys are now being overwritten by emoji from a folder called "Resources"..? Is there a way to disable these?

  • @Zhaan The version in the addons repository has a fix for this:

    As a heads up, sooner or later you'll want to upgrade your custom smilies from Emotify into a custom emoji package using EmojiExtender. It's a giant pain, but it's gonna make the road ahead much nicer.

    Alright, thanks for the heads up!

    Also, I noticed we have built-in embed support for a lot of services now, but Twitter links don't appear to work properly. Is this a bug?

    We do have Twitter support. I find Twitter embed to be the first thing to break when there's another Javascript error on the page, so you might check that first.

  • I just came across a host that does a "silent" redirect to its PHP CGI handler.

    So if you experience that all urls show the homepage in Vanilla 2.2, you can try adding this to your bootstrap.before.php:

    <?php

    if (isset($_SERVER['REDIRECT_X_REWRITE'])) {
        $_SERVER['X_REWRITE'] = $_SERVER['REDIRECT_X_REWRITE'];
    }
