In Vanilla 2.5 this plugin doesn't hide toolbar, but block toolbar and I can't push toolbar button.

Can I ask which format you're trying to use for your posts? BBCode/WYISW/HTML?

I've checked it again. And discovered that it works now. Maybe it started work after update to 2.5.1? I didn't check it with 2.5.1 yet.
Have you tried disabling all your other plugins to be sure the problem is the combination of Advanced Editor + Author selector and not the combination of those two with a third plugin?
Yes, I tried to disable others plugins and discovered it was with Advanced Editor + Author selector only.
I made a test and discovered that buttons don't work with plugin from addons section(https://open.vanillaforums.com/addon/authorselector-plugin), but with plugin from git it works fine.

@Linc, the version in the addon section is from 2014, is there anybody who could upload the new version from Github to the addon section?
