But I wouldn't encourage that. I just downloaded 2021.021 and found out it comes without a vendor folder, which makes it useless to most people using a hosted plan where they cannot run composer install. From my opinion at least three tests should be made before uploading a new version:
fresh install
update from version 3.3
update from some 2021.x version
That 2021.021 version failed 3. and 1. for me :-/
(Even though I managed to install it in the end, I still always get a body visibility:hidden css which hides my complete page, so I'd say version 2021.021 is not usable right now)
@pioc34 It's only a "source code" package and you need to build the installable package by yourself. Let's wait some time if there will be an official announcement. Until then... 😉
I haven't tried an update, but a new installation instead. It worked flawlessly, although it showed a "unknown version" on top of the installer...
As always, you need to add $Configuration['Garden']['RewriteUrls'] = true; to the /conf/config.php, but that's not something new (and I have only mentioned it because some newcomers might read this).
I said I would have more of an announcement today, but I don't quite have all the information that I need. The 025 release that went out yesterday is specifically for clients using vanilla-docker. A phing build for drag+drop installation with vendor & dist built is not currently ready.

As a heads up here, the Vanilla team is aware of the issue with the release out on Github.
I hope to have that resolved soon and the plan will be to update the version at the usual location (https://open.vanillaforums.com/addon/vanilla-core).
