websites using Vanilla?
Is there a list of websites who uses Vanilla? I want to see how Vanilla has been implemented by users.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Powell is one of the largest & longest-lived skateboard equipment manufacturers; it has existed since 1976.
I use Vanilla for a private discussion forum for a non-profit (not public).

I also have a beta Vanilla site I use for a bike maintenance advice site:

http://sploder.info/ has an interesting Vanilla look. Here are some other Vanilla-powered forums:

Also, I think the makezine forum is one of the largest I've seen so far, with ~4,000 discussions. The forum I'm looking to migrate is approaching 76,000 discussions so I'll be keenly interested in how the findability of discussions scales and how easy it is to keep track of discussions when we have more active threads in a day than appear on the homepage. Some interesting challenges but I'm not overly worried about them.
I'm going to take some of the usability lessons I've taken from the V2 default and create a new design from scatch, and then craft the theme with any necessary plugins to match the vision rather than incrementally inching away from the default. Really excited about the possibilities.
Warning: still buggy
And here's a better search to bring up Vanilla 1 forums:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=vanilla+"is+a+product+of+lussumo"
I contacted the site owner a couple of months ago for installation help but that was before Vanilla Forums allowed us to host forums with them.
The site is relatively new in its current form so the number of discussions is minimal, but I have high hopes for it.
Please check it out and comment. Also, feel free to sign up to promote your own site.

You'll note that I use Jazzman as the default skin, because personally I think it's the best for reading and discussion. Also:

I'm not a programmer, unfortunately, nor am I very skilled with CSS, so I have to rely on others to do that groundwork. A few years ago, though, I held a New Theme/New Style contest on these forums to encourage people to create new content for the community, it worked out pretty well (but now I just noticed that the addon area is no longer searchable by Style, so it's quite impossible to find them for Vanilla 1.x these days). If I had the time and skill to change the forums radically... well, honestly, I'd probably keep things right the way they are. I chose Vanilla as a lark/experiment, and stuck with it because of the layout, the format, the whispers and the application required aspects: They were really condusive to internet discussions.
I also have a smaller "group blog" site that runs Vanilla as a backbone, another tabletop RPG discussion group that focuses on games from Japan: http://www.j-rpg.com . From the outside, it looks like a blog. From the user-side, there are a lot of hidden "Workshop" style threads with private discussions, collaborations and the like.
