Connect Vanilla with WordPress in different domains

Is it possible link my Vanilla in domain.com with a Wordpress in other domain such myblog.com ?
Users would be logged in both domains? Thanks!!

What version of Vanilla are you running?
Are both domains hosted on the same server?

1.- No, it is an strategic question.
2.- Vanilla will be at least 2.0.18.8
3.- No, I wan't to install it in another domain (and host).
I did a search, but none of the threads mention how to connect plugin or databases. Also, I don't know if cookies make me logged in in both domains.

you have to use jsConnect.
there is no cross domain cookie.

@Rutrus They are both up to date. The latter is far easier to use.
