What about Vanilla forum's CPU usage?

As I understood from docs, installing Vanilla forum onto VPS is quite easy, because it is just copy-files (and set file permissions) action.
Correct me, if I am wrong. I want to deploy a forum onto our mirror sites devoted to 2048 Game Girls Choice For Windows Desktop (https://windows-2048.com, https://win-2048.org). They are located on a quite weak VPS with 1 CPU and 1Gb RAM. Can Vanilla forum work on such a weak VPS?

    It works on hosted platforms.

But the speed gain you get from using memcachd is enormous and most probably your hosting provider can't offer you that. Once you have seen Vanilla running with memcached, it feels sluggish on normal web hosts. You get something like that for less then 10 Euro/month and I would recommend that to boost your site performance.

  • This is quite a vague question. Obviously it depend hugely on usage.

Mostly when host say you are are using too much CPU, that is becuase they are throttling it to get you to upgrade.

Why duplicate content across two domains? Not really SEO friendly.

    grep is your friend.

I have Vanilla running on an even weaker VPS.

Memcached is awesome and not difficult to install if you can read English.
