Re: New Premium Theme: Silicon!
Some bugs/issues I had (only tested on FF 30.0) * When viewing a message, the Delete Conversation button text pops out of the side menu when it is in the side menu * Adding a user to the conversation causes the progress icon to show, it is not centered in the button block * Side Menu Navigation Pills conflict with the… -
[Crowd-Funding] Groups Add-On
I spoke with @hgtonight about this, but his quoted price to develop this is a bit out of reach for my wallet. What I'd like to know is if there are enough Users / Developers / Forum Admins interested in a feature like this to crowd-source this as an Add-On, with the end product being Pay What You Want to the developer for… -
Re: Vanilla 2.1 stable released
Some highlights of this release I compiled by clicking around between my 2.0 and 2.1 installs: * Rebooted the default theme to be easier to customize with fewer colors & rules and lower specificity in CSS * Switched to Smarty by default and added more helper functions * Improved the HTML structure of the entire site and… -
I think I am having CSS problems
I'm using open source Vanilla 3.3 and am seeing the following issues with CSS (I think). I am using the Keystone theme and I know next to nothing about making CSS changes, especially to Vanilla. So, with that said, these are the issues I am seeing. Round avatars on the Activity page sidebar are cut off both on top and… -
Re: This plugin is needed on this forum asap!!
I think that once a version is entered it is a permanent record and you can only add to the field. Or check the box with your version type of thing. And a tooltip showing them where to find it. Then that box once checked can't be unchecked. As you choose versions. I mean we are talking about small numbers here not millions… -
Interview with whu606
We had a chance to chat with whu606, moderator of Vanilla Forums Community Forum, for our monthly interview. Tell us about yourself. Originally from the UK, I’m a 53 yr old former teacher of English, and then IT, I am semi (well, 3/4 tbh) retired with my lovely (and, frankly, long-suffering) wife on the Greek island of… -
Interview with Shadowdare
What first brought you to Vanilla Forums? I first came across Vanilla Forums when a website I registered on switched from vBulletin to Vanilla Forums. The modern user interface and user friendliness of Vanilla Forums is what appealed to me from the start, and I also noticed that big websites such as the Penny Arcade and… -
Re: Vanilla 3.2 integration with Prestashop using jsconnect plugin.
@testing3 I am almost certain the user object code is not a huge change from those versions, unless I am mistaken. This process I gave is a generic approach. Oh, and I think you mentioned the wrong person, poor donovanb :) Also, don't forget this: go to your vanilla plugin jsconnect settings page and grab client ID and… -
Re: Feedback, Pledges, and Feature Requests - add them here.
This sounds awesome. I can't wait to see it! I was trying to see how the Purchase Premium Role plugin handles auto role promotion, seeing how difficult it would be to promote a user to a new role based on Total Points awarded. Looks very challenging, but would open up a whole new set of applications for the Badges and… -
