Heh. The pixel-trimming happens on my custom style also. In FF. As far as my donation goes, Mark is welcome to the entire contents of my PayPal account. (around $8 US)

I got the middle-end (aka $1299 version). The student discount bumped it down to $1199, but with tax it ended up being like $1297. I'll probably upgrade the RAM pretty soon, maybe I'll get an external hard drive or upgrade the current one later down the road. It shipped today and should be here on Saturday. Yay!

Your powers of deduction never cease to amaze me lech :D On the annoying side, someone said they'd consider buying this laptop off me for £750 (i offered it as a joke, i had no intention of selling it (though i did only pay £720 for it myself)) and it just struck me i can get the 2ghz macbook with student discount for about £770 and now I have no idea what to do. This is a very nice laptop. I like it a lot. But a spanking new macbook? Gah.... Come to think of it, i could get the low end one for £640 and make a profit. Ok so i lose 0.17ghz of processing powah and a dvdrw, but i never use them anyway. Help me lord!

tempting isnt it. Smaller screen, less ram, smaller disk though. How long would it take me to learn to love a mac?
