When you hit my dev site http://pf.main.nu you will see that there is nothing showing. I have a Guest role and the role is allowed to view all the categories, not sure why they can't see anything. Sorry for all the questions!

Don't move any theme. Delete keystone and theme-boilerplate from the /themes folder. Delete the content of the cache and the dist folder. Copy the new files from 2021.009 to your 3.3 forum.

There is no point speculating unless you can see the contents of those files, you won't know what label to use. those files are not in 2.0, so I'm guessing the latest version of 2.1
You can disable the .htaccess file by temporarily removing the dot. If that cures the 500 error, post the contents of the .htaccess file here so we can maybe figure out what's wrong.
I am being replaced all over the place ;) I agree that one welcome per thread is plenty. Also, stub content is great for the wiki, just start it with the sub template {{{Stub}}}.
@carmolio I would be extremely keen to have a dump of your database emailed to me. Structure-only is fine if you don't want to share the contents. That is a terrifying issue that should never happen.
