well it is just layers , a gif is a bunch of layers you just put them together with any program like graphic converter or any gif maker , even online editors have this available.
Then use the avatar image as static background.
If imagemagick is installed, this could be done server side.
Well sure there are several gif makers on line, but you don't need to make the whole thing just have some animations like the hearts for example and they can be placed with css just like the reactions you made. Here are some I have used, the first one has some cool things you can add like the ones I made above.
Hopefully more sites will be able to unlock the potential of CSS3 as more browsers update and support it ( IE 11 is on the way, so soon the two latest versions of most majors browsers will support html5/css3 )
I am making more progress. The plugin will be available for vanilla 2.1 and above provided I get more pledges.
I have 2 pledges so far (phreak, hgtonight, and vrjvlinder (already donated!)
Certainly there must be more interest in this. since there were alot of gripes that it wasn't available. numerous people said if only they could get a reactions plugin they would be glad to pay for it.
So would it be worth $10, $20 or $100 to you for a "reactions type plugin". Looking for more pledges to make this happen.
